What we do
Below is our internal procedure: twelve stages that we go through for you.
Pressing the submit button is easy. The hard part comes over the next six months, and that is where it is decided whether you get a card or another refusal letter.
The most common reasons for refusal
Keeping track of your own case is not always possible, and that can have unpleasant consequences. Most refusals come for reasons that could have been fixed while the case was still open.
Life happens: you forget to check the letterbox and miss a letter from the office. An incomplete application gives you only seven days to reply, and without a reply the case is dismissed and the opłata skarbowa is not refunded. We take that responsibility on ourselves, so your time and your case stay safe.
Find your case
“I don’t want to live on borrowed time any more. I’m tired of waiting every year to see whether it gets extended”
What we do: We choose your grounds and file now, while the queue is shorter. UKR status is cancelled only after a positive decision is signed, so until then you lose nothing.
“I don’t understand whether I need CUKR or a regular karta pobytu”
What we do: We compare both routes for your situation: the card duration, what each one gives you and what you need to collect. The switch is voluntary, and it is not always to your advantage.
“My employer told me to file myself. I’ve been sent a wezwanie and I have 7 days”
What we do: We go through the wezwanie and reply on time. After that we handle everything ourselves, so it no longer depends on the HR department. It is better to sign an employment contract for six months or longer.
“I don’t understand what the letter from the office wants from me”
What we do: We translate the request into plain language and close it. All correspondence with the office goes through us, and your correspondence address is our office.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a decision take?
We answer for our own timing: preparing and filing takes us days. We do not promise the office’s timing and cannot. Officially the case is considered within three months after fingerprints; the fingerprint appointment arrives around six months after filing, and cases in Warsaw take longer. Add two or three months to the decision date given in the wezwanie. That is exactly why we file an acceleration request and three ponaglenia on schedule.
Can I leave Poland after filing?
If you have a valid visa, karta pobytu or UKR status, yes. If your visa or card has expired and your stay is legal only because of the filed application, you are legal only within Poland. It does not allow you to travel freely across Europe.
What happens to UKR status?
It is cancelled after a positive decision on the residence card is signed, not at the moment of filing. Until then you lose nothing.
CUKR or a regular karta pobytu — which to choose?
CUKR is a three-year permit for Ukrainian citizens with UKR status; the statutory issue period is 180 days from the filing of a complete wniosek. The switch is voluntary and does not suit everyone. During the review we compare both routes for your situation.
Do you guarantee the card will be granted?
No, and no one can: the decision is made by the voivodeship office. We answer for what is ours — the grounds, the completeness of the set, the filing deadline and the response to every letter. If a refusal or a shortened permit arrives, we prepare an odwołanie: there are 14 days for it.
I won’t gather everything by the filing date. How long do I have to add documents?
Officially two weeks after filing. In practice documents can be added until the decision is signed. But the sooner you add them, the less the procedure drags on: while the set is incomplete the case is paused and goes back to the end of the queue, not the start.
I’ve left my job. What should I do?
Notify the office within 15 days. We prepare and file that notification — 184 zł. If you change employer, we prepare załącznik 1 and file the new umowa — 307 zł.
Will there be a contract?
Yes. We work under an official contract and a power of attorney: we draw up two pełnomocnictwa. The correspondence address for the office is our office, so letters do not get lost.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Payment is split into two parts: the second is taken at fingerprinting. On amounts from 1000 zł a 50/50 instalment plan until fingerprinting is available, with a 246 zł arrangement fee.
Are there family discounts?
Children under 17 get 50% off, provided the parents are applying at the same time. The discount does not apply to the instalment plan.
